Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board have continued to evolve to meet the needs of employers and job seekers in Hunterdon and Somerset counties.
The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Service Center at 27 Warren St., second floor, in Somerville is open for in-person, career-related services. Appointments are encouraged and customers who walk in will be accommodated as staffing levels permit. Appointment-only in-person career-related services are also available throughout the week at the Training Center at 6 Gauntt Place in Flemington. RVCC Information Session on Beauty Professions Programs

A Beauty Professions Information Session will be conducted from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the Workforce Training Center at the Raritan Valley Community College’s Branchburg campus.
During the Beauty Professions Information Session, participants will learn about RVCC’s programs in Cosmetology and Esthetics (Skin Care) as they view and participate in hands-on hair demonstrations; meet the programs’ director; and take part in a question-and-answer segment.
RVCC’s next Esthetics program will be offered Feb. 24 to Aug. 25. Classes for each are held Monday through Friday.
