- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Central Jersey Housing Resource Center Homebuyer Workshop Part II

FreeCentral Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) is presenting a two-day virtual Homebuyer Workshop from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. Monday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 29.
This HUD certified homebuyer free workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the home buying process. Attendees will hear from the industry’s local professionals about how to become a successful homeowner. Topics to be covered include:
- Money Management and Budgeting
- Working with a Realtor
- Credit
- Fair Housing
- How to Get a Mortgage
- Home Inspections & Ten Important Questions
- Working with a Real Estate Attorney
- Affordable Housing Options
- Homeowners Insurance
- Down Payment and Closing Cost Grants
Attendees must attend both days and will receive a certificate after the workshops are completed. In order to obtain a certificate, participants
must complete and submit required forms.
