- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. VMware Associate Information Session

FreeAn Information Session for a training program to become a VMware Associated will be conducted from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 15.
This program is for someone who wants to obtain the skills necessary to repair, network, and install computers and implement VMware administration in a network environment. This program contains the CompTIA A+ Certification. The student can obtain the skills necessary to enter the IT industry but also be on the cutting edge of technology by learning VMware virtualization. Students can obtain the certification on the CompTIA A+ Certification.
The program is funded by a New Jersey Department of Labor Opportunity Partnership Grant, and the training provider is BAR PC Training LLC, based in Point Pleasant.
To be eligible for this training opportunity, must be:
- Currently registered with the One-Stop Career Center
- Currently receiving UI or unemployed and UI ended within the past 52 weeks or
- Eligible unemployed individuals who meet the definition of WIOA dislocated worker.
