- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Somerset County Free Community Resource Event

The Somerset County Department of Human Services, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, The Giving Network and the Princeton Justice Initiative are collaborating on a two-day Community Resource Event in which resources and free items will be given away to community members.
The event will be conducted at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, at 300 Union Ave, Somerville, on Friday, May 3, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Items include free household items, coats and more. Everything is available while supplies last. This event is open to all Somerset County families and individuals. No information is required from residents.
All interested local agencies are invited to participate, by tabling to provide resources and promote agency services and programs. Follow this link to register by Friday, April 19. Please note this is an outside event and all agencies must provide their own table. Tents/canopies are encouraged.
