- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. RVCC Second Annual Ophthalmic Science Career Fair

FreeRaritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will host its second annual Ophthalmic Science Career Fair, Thursday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program, which is free of charge, will be conducted in the cafeteria in RVCC’s College Center (second floor).
The event is open to current and prospective students, alumni, apprentices, licensed opticians, and anyone interested in learning more about career opportunities within the optical field.
Recruiters and representatives from a variety of optical businesses and organizations will be available to speak with attendees about employment opportunities, career paths, and the many directions available within the profession.
