- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Public Forum sponsored by N.J. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Once a year, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) and the State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) host public forums to provide information on available services for individuals with disabilities and receive input from the community. This year, the virtual platforms will be conducted on June 4 and June 10.
Public input will help to mold program delivery and policy to ensure that people with disabilities receive rehabilitation services that result in employment. Representatives from the DVRS and the SRC will be available to provide information on available services and document public feedback and testimony.
Topics will include:
- Service provision during the current public health emergency
- What’s working during these challenging times
- Coordination and provision of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
- Service provision to individuals who have high support needs
- Other employment-related issues that impact individuals who have disabilities.
The first forum will be conducted from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 4. The registration deadline is Monday, May 31.
The second forum will be conducted from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 10. The registration deadline is Monday, June 7.
