- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. NJMEP Pre-Screening Testing for Apprenticeship Program

New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) is providing Apprenticeship services to its manufacturing clients. In addition to those clients placing their incumbent workers into NJMEP’s program cohorts, they have asked NJMEP to prescreen and supply candidates for hire to be placed into NJMEP’s Industrial Manufacturing Production Technician Apprenticeship Program.
The next assessment date for this program is scheduled for 10 a.m. Jan. 21 at NJMEP’s Cedar Knolls location.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old, and interested in manufacturing job. A driver’s license is strongly preferred for mobility and access to company locations to meet their work and production schedules. The first step is to have candidates prescreened.
