Over the past two years, career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board have evolved to meet the needs of employers and job seekers in Hunterdon and Somerset counties.

 The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Service Center at 27 Warren St., second floor, in Somerville is open for in-person, career-related services 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday. While appointments are encouraged, walk-ins are welcomed. Appointment-only in-person career-related services are also available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Training Center at 6 Gauntt Place in Flemington. All offices also continue to offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. In addition, a virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted on Fridays, and virtual career-webinars presented by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board continue to be scheduled. New Jersey Civil Service Commission Virtual Information Event for Veterans

November 22 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In order to promote careers in state and local government, the New Jersey Civil Service Commission has scheduled a virtual information session from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22. For this event, veterans are especially encouraged to attend.

All New Jersey residents are encouraged to attend the free presentations. Each presentation will include an hour overview on how to apply for state and local jobs and provide resource materials.
