Over the past two years, career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board have evolved to meet the needs of employers and job seekers in Hunterdon and Somerset counties.
The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Service Center at 27 Warren St., second floor, in Somerville is open for in-person, career-related services 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday. While appointments are encouraged, walk-ins are welcomed. Appointment-only in-person career-related services are also available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Training Center at 6 Gauntt Place in Flemington. All offices also continue to offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. In addition, a virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted on Fridays, and virtual career-webinars presented by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board continue to be scheduled. How to Prep for and Ace an Interview Workshop

Training Specialist Sherry Prindle will unravel the mysteries of “How to Prepare for and Ace an Interview” during a Zoom workshop being presented at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, by the Middlesex County Office of Career Opportunity.
This session goes beyond the obvious tips on nervousness and body language (though it covers those things) into simple, but not so subtle methods of influence and likeability.
Prindle brings 27 years of expertise as an international speaker, technical trainer, certified master coach, and consultant.
