- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Health Careers Event: Opportunities in the Clinical Research Field

FreeFelician University and the New Jersey Department of Labor’s Industry Partnerships Life Sciences team are presenting a Health Careers Event focusing on opportunities in Clinical Research from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 24, at Felician University, 223 Montross Ave., Rutherford.
Presenters include Mary Wygonik, global clinical research study leader at Roche, and Christian Colon-Ramirez, a chemical engineer and cell therapy professional at Johnson & Johnson. Networking and information from life sciences companies will be available.
The event also will include pizza and refreshments.
