- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. GRWDB Literacy Committee meeting

Through policy, oversight, and planning, the GRWDB ensures that workforce training and education investments are responsive to and meet the needs of employers and jobseekers and is responsible for maintaining committees to help inform decision-making around services and priorities for targeted populations. One of those includes the GRWDB’s Literacy Committee, which works with Title II literacy providers and volunteer literacy organizations in Hunterdon and Somerset counties to ensure literacy training is connected to the other services offered in Greater Raritan’s workforce system.
The agenda for the July 16 meeting will include an important discussion on the evolution of First Step Basic English program, a look ahead to Title II funding and related programming, and a discussion on assisting program participants get connected to other services. (Please note that this meeting replaces a previously scheduled July 30 meeting of the GRWDB Literacy Committee.)
