Career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board focus on meeting customers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties where they are.
The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Service Center at 27 Warren St., second floor, in Somerville is open for in-person, career-related services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Walk-ins are welcomed, but appointments are encouraged. Walk-in and appointment services are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and by appointment on Thursday and Friday at the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 6 Gauntt Place in Flemington. In-person career-related services are available Monday through Friday at the Greater-Raritan One-Stop Career Center – Employment Services and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – at 75 Veterans Memorial Drive, Somerville. In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Getinge’s Second Annual Veterans Networking Celebration

FreeGetinge’s Second Annual Veterans Networking Celebration event will be conducted on Thursday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Getinge Experience Center Wayne at 45 Barbour Pond Road in Wayne. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
Attendees will learn how Getinge supports healthcare systems and professionals around the world in providing the best possible outcomes for their patients. As part of event, sales and service leaders wil talk about how Getinge collaborates with medical and biotechnology facilities worldwide. The celebration will include a guided tour of Getinge’s Experience Center, and there also will be a panel discussion with Getinge professionals – who are also veterans – as they provide insight on how they shifted from a career in the military to a career in med tech. Questions are encouraged!
In addition, a Resume Workshop will be conducted during a coffee break where their hiring team will give tips for resume building.
