The ongoing Coronarvirus (COV-19) pandemic has led to the cancellation, suspension and repurposing of programs and events in the Greater Raritan workforce system and beyond.
The monthly Jersey Job Club workshops and events usually conducted at the Somerville One Stop Career Center have been suspended.
Workshops presented in person by the Greater Raritan One Stop Career Training Center are moving to a virtual platform, as having introduction sessions on SkillUp Greater Raritan, a program of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB).
In addition, some GRWDB Board and Committee meetings have been rescheduled. Look on the calendar for updates.

Free Seminar on NJ’s New Expungement Law
March 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The New Jersey statute on expungement was revised in a law signed on Dec. 18, 2019. If someone has been arrested, has a private criminal complaint signed against them in Municipal Court, or has a criminal record (even if the charges were dismissed or received a Conditional Discharge under N.J. law), past criminal arrests and convictions can be expunged/erased in certain instances.
Speakers Kenneth Vercammen and Allan Marain will discuss the process and address questions during a seminar on the “New Expungement Law for Removal of Criminal Arrests and Convictions” running from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road.
This event is open to adults and registration is required. Call the library at 732-246-3545 or sign up at northbrunswicklibrary.org.
