- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Construction Industry Career Day 2026 High School Showcase

FreeConstruction Industry Career Day 2026 will showcase the construction industry’s educational opportunities and occupations, while providing participants with hands-on activities within many of the trades.
The Construction Industry Career Day 2026 Public Showcase will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at the NJ Convention & Expo Center in Edison.
The free event is designed to introduce individuals to the benefits of a career in the construction industry. Representatives from the union construction trades, four-year colleges and trade associations will be available to answer questions and show participants what they offer in their respective field. In addition, various government entities supporting workforce development will be on hand provide information on the services they provide. The showcase is open to all, including veterans, underemployed, unemployed, students, parents and those looking for a new career. Public registration will open January 5, 2026, and walk-ins are welcome.
In addition, there will be High School event running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. This is open to high school students/groups only. Career Exploration is vital for students and others looking to make informed decisions about their career and education options. Registration for the high school day will open January 2, 2026, and close at a capacity of 2,000 or May 1, 2026, (whichever comes first).
These events are designed to provide all who attend information regarding construction career options, educational requirements, stackable and transferable credentials, wage progressions and in some cases college credits.
