- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. CHHA and Healthcare Career Conversation

FreeJob seekers are invited to a virtual information session and discussion on the role of Certified Home Health Aides being presented from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board.
Attendees will hear from three local employers about the role of Certified Home Health and how people in this position can make a difference in someone’s life. Details regarding training and how to access grants funds and services will be shared.
In addition, October is Disability Awareness month. Attendees will hear how the NJDOL helps employers meet their DEI needs, and how the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) assists individuals looking for work.
