Career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board focus on meeting customers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties where they are.

  • The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays.   • The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. Call 908-704-3000 or use this form to schedule an appointment.
  • The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.

In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Cannabis Legalization Youth Workshop

April 6, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

A Youth Adults & Cannabis Info Session will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, Raritan Valley Community College Workforce Training Center in Branchburg.

This free 90-minute event is directed to  youth attendees and their parents. It will feature a 90-minute panel  discussions and workshop format and include information about the cannabis industry, related law-enforcement issues, the health benefits and risks of  cannabis and career opportunities in the industry. The event is presented by: Sarah Trent, founder of NJ Cannabis Certified and Valley Wellness; Visions and Pathways, a youth-serving organization based in Somerset County; and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board.

Presenters are to include Sarah Trent, founder of NJ Cannabis Certified and Valley Wellness; Sam Padro, packaging supervisor for Verano Holdings, a cannabis grower in Readington; Dr. Teresa Simon, founder of Physicians Research Center and who is currently developing cannabis programming related to teens; Perry Shaw, a father of two teenagers and part of the Valley Wellness team; and Paul Grzella, Director, Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board.
