- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Breakfast Club NJ Workshop: Money Saving Strategies During a Career Transition

$10The Breakfast Club NJ will present “Money Saving Strategies During a Career Transition” by Bill LaChance starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 13. The group meets in the Conference Center of the East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive.
LaChance is an independent financial advisor. Prior to launching his financial planning practice, LaChance spent 22 years in corporate finance in the retail industry and before that was a CPA with a large accounting firm. His presentation will cover a number of strategies to consider to help with cash flow during a career transition, with a focus on those strategies that may not be well known or understood.
A facilitated networking session from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. will follow his session. presentation.
A $10 fee will be collected at the door to pay for the cost of the room.
