The ongoing Coronarvirus (COV-19) pandemic has led to the cancellation, suspension and repurposing of programs and events in the Greater Raritan workforce system and beyond.
The monthly Jersey Job Club workshops and events usually conducted at the Somerville One Stop Career Center have been suspended.
Workshops presented in person by the Greater Raritan One Stop Career Training Center have moved to virtual platforms, as have introduction sessions on SkillUp Greater Raritan, a program of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB). New virtual programs also are being developed.
In addition, all GRWDB Board and Committee meetings are being conducted virtually.

Abilities Virtual Experience 2
November 20 - November 22
Abilities Expo will present a new and improved, interactive, accessible virtual experience for the disability community worldwide from Nov. 20 to 22.
Admission to the Abilities Virtual Experience 2 is free.
The event is interactive and includes live interviews and question-and-answer sessions with stars from the disability community. Participants include Paul Amadeus Lane, a radio personality and tech/entertainment vlogger; Tony Award-winning actress Ali Stroker; and writer, storyteller, comic and Jersey girl Santina Muha.
Abilities VE2 participants also will find information on devices to help meet day-to-day challenges; chat directly with other attendees and exhibitors; share advice and get answers through discussion forums; get tips and tricks on how to boost immunity, make kitchens accessible and more in workshops series; and engage from home with wheelchair dance tutorials, adaptive fitness, yoga, service dog demos and more.
