- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. FreeThe New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC) 2025 Annual Reentry Conference is scheduled for Holy Thursday, April 17, at St. Peter’s University, Mac Mahon Student Center, in Jersey City from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s theme is “A Trilogy of Evil – The Journey for Deliverance: Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse, and Human Trafficking.” The conference will address the unique challenges faced by victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking within the criminal justice system, particularly when women seek to take action against their historical perpetrators.
The conference agenda features a diverse group of professionals, advocates, and survivors. They will share insights and strategies for supporting women through diversionary programming and legislative initiatives designed to assist those navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system.
