Free English-language classes for adults are offered by several different agencies and organizations in Somerset County and Hunterdon County. Space is limited and registration for fall 2024 classes has closed. These providers are also part of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board Literacy Committee, which seeks to provide a central place for English-language learners. As part of this ongoing effort, the partners, with the fiscal support of Somerset County, are offering additional class, small group and tutoring opportunities and are working with a Literacy Navigator who helps individuals connect to the right program.
