- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Honoring the Anniversary of FMLA and Exploring NJ Paid Leave Protections

The United States Department of Labor – Wage and Hour Division & the Women’s Bureau along with the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development and New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy will give a virtual presentation at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, “Honoring the 30th Anniversary of FMLA and Exploring New Jersey Paid Leave Protections.”
The webinar is part of a nationwide commemoration led by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division, which enforces the Family and Medical Leave Act.
The webinar will focus on protections under federal and state law, including maternity leave and how it helps Black working families and other underserved communities. Among the presenters is NJDOL Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo.
The event is open to workers, employers, associations, advocates, community organizations and other New Jersey stakeholders. Attendance is free, but registration is required by going here.
