- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Construction Showcase set in Atlantic City

The Construction Showcase on March 30 will feature more than 50 of the best-trained 4th-year union carpenter apprentices in a live competition of hands-on trade and technical career skills during a day-long challenge at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Attendees will feel the excitement as competitors work against the clock and each other in contests to test their knowledge, skills, and endurance.
The showcase, hosted by the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, the Carpenters Contractor Trust and EAS Training Funds, will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.in Hall B of the convention center.
