- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Earn and Learn Virtual Apprenticeship Career Fair

An Earn and Learn Virtual Apprenticeship Career Fair will be conducted on Thursday, May 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event, presented by Bergen Community College, starts with apprenticeship information, followed by presentations by employers looking to fill different positions.
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., CVS Health and CareOne, will talk about Pharmacy Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant and Community Health Apprenticeships opportunities. The “learn and earn” apprenticeship program includes grants that can cover tuition.
Then from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Westfield Garden State Plaza will talk about various roles available, including Floor Managers, Key Holders, Security Officers and more.
The event will conclude from 1 to 2 p.m. with Wythe Windows and Case Management recruiting for its Machine Operator – Apprenticeship position.
