- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Manufacturing Day 2020 – Made in New Jersey

National Manufacturing Day is an important way for the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) to spread the word about the benefits that manufacturing provides to the Garden State.
As a supporter of Manufacturing Day, NJMEP is working to drive awareness of manufacturing, the career opportunities that are available, and the advanced technologies that are driving the industry.
This year’s celebration on Friday, Oct. 2, will be virtual, with NJMEP celebrating every New Jersey manufacturing business and essential employee.
Highlights include a Virtual Exhibit Hall focusing on the companies supporting the industry and the manufacturers that keep the world moving; breakout sessions ranging from Manufacturing Cyber Risks to exploring Workforce Strategies; and one-on-one strategy sessions allowing participants to talk with companies via video conference. The Virtual Exhibit all runs from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., followed by the breakout sessions going to noon. The day ends with the one-on-one strategy sessions.
