- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Hunterdon Polytech Advanced Manufacturing Special Event

FreeHunterdon County Polytech is hosting an Advanced Manufacturing Special Event at its North Campus from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, to highlight it Advanced Manufacturing and Aeronautical Sciences programs in partnership with the Maritime Industrial Base (MIB).
Polytech has submitted a proposal to the MIB seeking funding to further equip and enhance its program, and this event marks the long-awaited next steps in launching the program first considered a number of years ago. Regional manufacturers are invited to attend this meeting to learn more and support the program’s continued development.
The MIB is an initiative of the U.S. Department of the Navy focused on strengthening America’s naval power by revitalizing the nation’s shipbuilding and repair capabilities. Polytech’s goal is to educate and train students in Hunterdon County with the technical skills necessary to support the MIB’s mission while also strengthening the local and regional workforce pipeline in advanced manufacturing and related high- demand industries.
