- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Virtual Workshop: Resume Writing 101

FreeThe New Jersey State Library is hosting a virtual workshop, Resume Writing 101, starting at noon Tuesday, November 18.
Topics to be covered include:
- Writing a resume from the employer’s viewpoint versus the job seeker’s
- The purpose of position statements
- Basic headings and formatting the information within them.
Participants may have their resume ready so that they can make changes in real-time.
The presenter is Paul Cecala, a certified Global Career Development Facilitator, work search author, and founder of Cecala Career Consultants. He currently facilitates job seeker networking groups for four different organizations. He has helmed the adult professional education programs for two colleges and a state One-Stop Career Center.
