- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Healthcare Apprenticeship Information Session for Businesses in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties

FreeApprenticeship is an increasingly important part of the offerings available through workforce development programs – and one that is expected to get more attention and funding from Washington, DC.
To share information on local opportunities, the GRWDB is partnering with Kaizen Technologies, based in Edison, to present a virtual program for employers in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties on how to become part of Kaizen’s Registered Healthcare Apprenticeship Program. The session on Zoom will be conducted on Monday, August 25, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This session will provide insights into how this Registered Healthcare Apprenticeship program can help local businesses train and retain talent using an existing program that meets national quality standards while reducing turnover costs, increasing productivity, and taking advantage of free, expert technical assistance and other related benefits.
