  • The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays.   • The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays.   • The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.

In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Facing the Future 2025: Conference on Strategies for Competitive Integrated Employment

Registration is now open for Facing the Future 2025, happening Friday, Oct. 10 in New Brunswick. The annual conference sponsored by The Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development and NJ APSE highlights best practices in supporting people with disabilities in career planning, supported and customized employment, and transition from school to work.

The 2025 conference being conducted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick is subtitled, “Uncharted Waters: Navigation Strategies for Competitive Integrated Employment.” The conference features 12 workshops on transition, support strategies, job coaching, and job development, and a keynote presentation by Duncan Winburn. The keynote presentation will be given by Duncan Winburn, a third-year law student at the Joseph F. Rice School of Law, University of South Carolina, and a disability rights advocate.

Continuing Education Credits are offered for Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Education, and APSE Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP).
