- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. FreeThe New Jersey Department of Corrections, the largest law enforcement agency in the state, is hiring. Learn more at an in-person recruitment being conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 14.
This Career Fair event will be conducted at the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center, 75 Veterans Memorial Drive, Room B, Somerville. There will be four information sessions and breaks for networking with New Jersey Department of Corrections staff members. The event will include presentations on Career Opportunities, Requirements and Benefits, along with the time for Q&A sessions. The day’s schedule:
- Info Session 1: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
- Break networking and questions: 10:30 to 11 a.m.
- Info Session 2: 11: a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Lunch and Networking: 12 to 1 p.m.
- Info Session 3: 1 to 2 p.m.
- Break – networking and questions: 2 to 2:30 p.m.
- Info Session 4: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Interaction and Questions: 3:30 to 4 p.m.
