- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Wakefern Food Coop. Hiring Events at All Stores

FreeWakefern Food Corp. which operates the ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market supermarkets, is set to host hiring fairs at its stores on Saturday, Oct. 19.
The walk-up job fairs will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at store locations throughout New Jersey, as well as New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland. Interested candidates can visit most participating stores to speak with a hiring representative for an immediate interview. Depending on location, full-time, part-time and management positions are available.
Available positions, including general, perishable, front end and stocking clerks, offer flexible hours and a variety of cross training to provide employees with the knowledge, skills and tools to work as a team throughout the store. Each job offers opportunities for career growth.
Associates’ entertainment and tuition discounts and scholarship opportunities are also offered by many of the family-owned supermarkets.
