- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Middlesex County Life Sciences Career Expo

Companies hiring right now will be in attendance at the Middlesex County Life Sciences Career Expo, happening from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, 11 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.
This event open to the general public is appropriate for a recent graduate, mid-career professional, or life sciences professional who has recently experienced a job loss.
Life Sciences Career Expo attendees can:
- Explore career opportunities and connect with a few dozen employers looking to recruit and hire top talent
- Network with businesses and life sciences industry professionals
- Learn about services, resources, and programs available to support a job seeker’s career path and development.

In addition, employees from three area companies which recently experienced downsizing actions will be taking part in the Career Expo from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., before the expo opens to the general public at noon.
