- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. STEM and K-12 Education Apprenticeship Accelerator 2023

The net.America Corporation, in partnership with U.S. Department of Labor, is hosting STEM and K-12 Education Apprenticeship Accelerator 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Passaic County Community College in Paterson.
The event will showcase how Registered Apprenticeship Programs can help bolster STEM career education, K-12 education, and address STEM teacher shortages. The event will include live discussions, a keynote by NJIT professor Ashish Borgaonkar, expert panels with educators and employers, and Q&A sessions designed to provide insight into the state of STEM and K-12 education and the benefits that Registered Apprenticeship Programs offer to address common challenges.
Speakers will include leaders from U.S. Department of Labor, N.J. Department of Labor, Camden U, NJIT, Behler of America, Avatar Tech LLC, Becton Dickinson, and Passaic County Technical Vocational Schools.
