Career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board focus on meeting customers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties where they are.
The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Service Center at 27 Warren St., second floor, in Somerville is open for in-person, career-related services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Walk-ins are welcomed, but appointments are encouraged. Walk-in and appointment services are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and by appointment on Thursday and Friday at the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 6 Gauntt Place in Flemington. In-person career-related services are available Monday through Friday at the Greater-Raritan One-Stop Career Center – Employment Services and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – at 75 Veterans Memorial Drive, Somerville. In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. STEM and K-12 Education Apprenticeship Accelerator 2023

The net.America Corporation, in partnership with U.S. Department of Labor, is hosting STEM and K-12 Education Apprenticeship Accelerator 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Passaic County Community College in Paterson.
The event will showcase how Registered Apprenticeship Programs can help bolster STEM career education, K-12 education, and address STEM teacher shortages. The event will include live discussions, a keynote by NJIT professor Ashish Borgaonkar, expert panels with educators and employers, and Q&A sessions designed to provide insight into the state of STEM and K-12 education and the benefits that Registered Apprenticeship Programs offer to address common challenges.
Speakers will include leaders from U.S. Department of Labor, N.J. Department of Labor, Camden U, NJIT, Behler of America, Avatar Tech LLC, Becton Dickinson, and Passaic County Technical Vocational Schools.
