DESCRIPTION:Construction Industry Career Day 2026 will showcase the construction industry’s educational opportunities and occupations\, while providing participants with hands-on activities within many of the trades. \nThe Construction Industry Career Day 2026 Public Showcase will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday\, May 26\, at the NJ Convention & Expo Center in Edison. \nThe free event is designed to introduce individuals to the benefits of a career in the construction industry. Representatives from the union construction trades\, four-year colleges and trade associations will be available to answer questions and show participants what they offer in their respective field.  In addition\, various government entities supporting workforce development will be on hand provide information on the services they provide. The showcase is open to all\, including veterans\, underemployed\, unemployed\, students\, parents and those looking for a new career. Public registration will open January 5\, 2026\, and walk-ins are welcome. \nIn addition\, there will be High School event running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday\, May 27.
