DESCRIPTION:The Hunterdon County Aging and Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee is hosting an information session on work incentives at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday\, April 7\, at the Hunterdon County Aging & Disability Resource Center\, Room 5B\, 4 Gauntt Place\, Flemington. \nElisa Cohen\, from N.J. Work Incentives Network Supports (NJWINS) will talk about Working Incentives for Working while on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). \nThe presentation is designed for people who are already on SDDI and/or SSI \, and are working or considering work. The presentation will not be addressing applying for SSDI or SSI. \nPeople with disabilities\, their caregivers and provider agencies are encouraged to attend\, according to a news release from the county Department of Human Services. The event is open to all\, including non-county residents. Those with disabilities\, their families and caregivers will find it especially helpful\, according to the news release. \nPre-registration is requested by calling 908-788-1361.
