DESCRIPTION:Members of the community interested in learning more about various programs offered through Raritan Valley Community College’s Adult Learners’ College are invited to attend one of two special Information Sessions in April. \nThe college will conduct an Adult Learners’ College Business Degree Information Session on Tuesday\, April 16\, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.\, in the RVCC Atrium. An Adult Learners’ College Health Science Information Session is set for Wednesday\, April 24\, 5:30-7:30 p.m.\, in the College’s Event Center. Both will be held at RVCC’s Branchburg campus. \nDuring the April 16 session\, faculty members from the Business and Public Service Department will be on hand to present information and answer questions about RVCC’s Business degrees. \nThe April 24 session focusing on healthcare programs will offer attendees an opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from the College’s Health Science Education Department\, as well as representatives from the non-credit allied health programs. \nBoth events will include information about applying to RVCC\, support services designed for non-traditional students\, and paying for college and financial aid options. \nRVCC’s Adult Learners’ College is designed for adults age 25 and older who are looking to complete their college degree\, explore a new career path\, gain additional training\, get a promotion at work\, be the first member of their family to attend college\, or improve their English. Seven-week semesters will be offered for some programs\, providing adult students with a schedule designed to help them balance work\, school\, and family obligations.
