To take the course\, participants must have an office government ID (driver’s license\, passport\, etc.) The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center services residents of Hunterdon and Somerset counties. \nClasses in 2025 are on April 3\, May 1\, June 5\, July 3\, August 7\, September 4\, October 2\, November 6 and December 4. DESCRIPTION:The New Jersey Office of the Public Defender (NJPOD)\, First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens\, Assemblyman Joe Danielsen\, D-Dist. 17\, and Somerset County are partnering to present “Clean Slate\, 2.0\,” an expungement clinic being conducted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.\, Wednesday\, April 9\, at the church at 771 Somerset St.\, Franklin. \nAt the clinic\, attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with experienced NJOPD attorneys and legal professionals\, who will provide guidance at no cost. The staff will assist with determining expungement eligibility\, help complete necessary paperwork\, and share information on additional legal resources and support available in the Somerset area and beyond. There will also be an attorney present to discuss the possibility of an executive pardon for individuals who are not eligible for an expungement. \nNew partners Legal Services of Northwest Jersey and Community in Crisis are also supporting this event. \nThe Clean Slate clinic is open to the public\, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP to ensure adequate accommodations. Those who plan to attend and speak with an attorney about a possible expungement should bring any information they have about the case they are hoping to address. The sessions will be in-person with an option to join virtually. \nThe GRWDB OPG Program is designed for dislocated workers and underemployed individuals who are interested in starting a new manufacturing career. The program allows eligible participants to get an OSHA-10 certificate in safety standards and receive a certification for Certified Manufacturing Associate in fundamental production know-how. The 12-hour OSHA online class and the 25- to 30-hour online training program from Tooling U-SME introduce basic concepts in the areas needed to begin a successful entry-level manufacturing career. \nThere are 30 slots available.
