DESCRIPTION:A Career Resource & Job Fair will be conducted on Wednesday\, Aug. 21\, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at William Paterson University\, in the University Commons (ballrooms A\, B and C) located at 300 Pompton Road in Wayne.  \nThe event is sponsored by the Passaic County One-Stop Career Center\, William Paterson University\, and the state Department of Labor & Workforce Development to provide corporations\, government\, and nonprofit agencies the ability to promote their career opportunities to hundreds of local jobseekers\, students\, and alumni seeking employment.  \nThis is a free event for recruiters and jobseekers.   \nEmployers representing a wide variety of industries will be represented at the event including healthcare\, security\, retail\, sales\, financial services\, transportation\, material management\, government\, manufacturing\, trade unions and life sciences.  Workshops for jobseekers will be available on résumé revamping\, job hunting\, acing interviews and using social media and LinkedIn effectively.  \nInterested employers must register by Aug. 9 here.
