DESCRIPTION:A two-day Poverty Immersion Institute will be presented by Dr. Donna M\, Beegle\, a nationally recognized poverty expert. \nThe virtual training event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday\, January 27\, and Tuesday\, January 28\, and aims to assist those working with low-income individuals. This experience provides an immersion into the realities of poverty along with practical\, doable actions for improving outcomes. Beegle\, who grew up in general poverty\, eventually received her doctorate and speaks from experience to provide practical tools for making a difference. \nThe cost to attend is $499.00 per person.
