DESCRIPTION:Job Readiness Computer Skills will be offered in January by Norwescap in an in-person training series at the Washington Borough Public Library\, 20 Carlton Ave.\, Washington. The class will meet from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on the following dates and with the following subjects: \nJanuary 2\, January 4 and January 9: Office 365 Excel\, for easy budgets and charts. \nJanuary 11 and January 16: Office 365 PowerPoint\, to get your point across.  \nThis series is designed to prepare participants to return to the workforce with up-to-date computer skills. The Job Readiness series teaches participants to create professional documents\, easy budgets and charts\, get points across in a presentation\, and learn secrets of a successful job search.  These classes will be held in-person. \nIn addition\, two other related courses will be offered at the library in a hybrid format during the month: \nJanuary 18– Secrets of a Successful Job Search\, to learn tips and tricks and resources to help in a job search. \nJanuary 23 – Why LinkedIn? Employers are looking at candidates on social media? LinkedIn is an essential tool in any career toolbox. More than just a copy of your resume\, LinkedIn a great source of information about the job market\, trends and connections with others in your industry.
