DESCRIPTION:Job Readiness Computer Skills will be offered in person in October and November at Norwescap training center in Flemington.  The Class time is 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays. Please call Terry to register\, 908-788-1453. \nOctober 24 and 26 –Office 365 Word\, you must attend the first day before attending the second day  \nOctober 31\, November 2 and November 9 – Office 365 Excel\, you must attend the first day before attending the second day.  \nIn addition\, two other related courses will be offered in Flemington during the month. \nOctober 18\, 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Introduction to Canva. Canva has become a new in-demand technical skill that employers require for some positions. Learn how easy it can be to use this tool is to create presentations\, videos\, flow charts\, calendars\, invitations\, and social media posts.  This is being offered thanks to a grant from Comcast. \nOctober 25\, 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Introduction to Coding will be presented by Karen Williams. Learn how coding works\, how easy it is to create and generate your own coded creation. This is being offered thanks to a grant from Comcast. \nThis series is designed to prepare participants to return to the workforce with up-to-date computer skills. The Job Readiness series teaches participants to create professional documents\, easy budgets and charts\, get points across in a presentation\, and learn secrets of a successful job search.  These classes will be held in-person using the computers and Internet at the Norwescap location at 84 Park Ave. in Flemington\, \nTo register for any of these sessions\, call 908-788-1435.
