SUMMARY:Career Webinar: Using Online Job Applications
DESCRIPTION:Applying for a job and encountering an unfamiliar experience?  When you submit an application online\, your materials are first read by a computer program. \nIn this webinar running from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday\, October 13\, participants will learn how to customize resumes with the right keywords. They also will explore the various file formats that applicant tracking systems read best\, receive tips on to effectively set up resumes\, and get a glimpse to how recruiters use and rate resumes as they go about their work.  Questions are encouraged. \nInformation and resources will be presented by staff members of the Great Raritan Workforce Development Board. \nThe event is presented in collaboration with the Bernards Township Library\, and registration (with your email address) is required. Registrants will be emailed the link to join on Zoom about one hour prior to the start of the program.
