SUMMARY:Business Etiquette: A Virtual Career Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The art of portraying a poised\, self-confident image in today’s demanding business atmosphere is a skill that is much too often overlooked by many professionals\, but not by those observing and making critical judgments based upon the person’s communication. \nTo learn about this topic\, job seekers are invited to attend a Business Etiquette virtual workshop\, running from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday\, July 2. \nTopics to be covered include: how you can sabotage a positive first impressions; practicing business etiquette to build and maintain relationships; delivering your message in verbal\, non-verbal and written way; proper introductions and professional presence\, including grooming; and Netiquette. \nThe workshop will be presented by Jan Goodman\, a certified workforce development professional for the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center.
