SUMMARY:Information Session on Shop Craft Program for Film and TV Industry
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with I.A.T.S.E. Local 52\, Reel Works is hosting an intensive training program to prepare rising New Jersey professionals with the skills needed to work successfully as Shop Craftpersons – a first step toward a career in the entertainment industry. \nInterested individuals can learn more during an information session being conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday\, December 18. The event\, which includes a live question-and-answer session\, is supported by Netflix. \nThe Shop Craft department – carpentry – builds\, installs and removes all wooden structures on a set. To be considered for the training program\, individuals must be 18 years or older\, and have experience of using hand and power tools\, and be a New Jersey resident living within a 70-mile radius of Fort Monmouth. \nThere is no fee for the program\, and each trainee will be paid a stipend during training. \nScan the QR code in this flyer to register for the information session. \nLearn more at: mediamkrs.org/career-development. \n  \n  \n
