DESCRIPTION:The Jack and Ronnie McGreevey Civic Association is hosting a job fair for the residents of Hudson County at 11 a.m. on Thursday\, July 25. at 73 Martin Luther King Drive in Jersey City. \nEmployers from a range of sectors\, including transportation\, public safety and education. All job seekers are encouraged to register and attend\, especially those with the relevant training and/or work experience needed to flourish within one of the organizations present. \nThe Jack and Ronnie McGreevey Civic Association was founded in 2023 by former Governor Jim McGreevey. Named after the governor’s parents\, the civic association aims to alleviate the pressures of unemployment and health for Hudson County residents\, while seeking to recognize those who have dedicated themselves to serving the community and achieved success in their respective professions. \nThe current list of attending employers includes the Jersey City Police Department\, Council for Airport Opportunity\, Jersey City PBOA\, New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision\, TSA\, the Newark Board of Education\, PCF\, NJ Transit\, Primerica\, Stop and Shop\, Always home care\, Western carriers\, and BAYADA. \nInterested employers and job seekers are encouraged to register at mcgreeveycivicassn.com or by scanning the QR code in the event flyer.
