Individuals interested in the human services field are invited to attend one of three sessions that will begin at 10 a.m.\, 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. \nOn-the-spot interviews will be conducted following each session. The agency has immediate openings in a variety of roles — including Direct Support Professional\, Registered Behavior Technician\, and Behavior Technician — and schedules as it prepares to open its newest Group Home in Hillsborough. No experience is required for some roles\, and the agency provides paid training and growth opportunities. There is also currently an open opportunity for an RN. \nAll attendees must complete an online application (available here) prior to attending a session. DESCRIPTION:The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Employment Services office at 75 Veterans Memorial Drive in Somerville offers a free forklift certificate class on the first Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. throughout the year. \nThe Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) Certificate Class will enable successful participants to receive an operator’s permit from their employer upon passing a practical skills evaluation at their workplace. To take the course\, participants must have an office government ID (driver’s license\, passport\, etc.) The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center services residents of Hunterdon and Somerset counties. \nClasses in 2026 are scheduled for January 8 (because of the New Year’s holiday)\, February 5\, March 5\, April 2\, May 7\, June 4\, July 2\, August 6\, September 3\, October 1\, November 5\, and December 3. Participants are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the class. \nClasses may fill up quickly.
