DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for Facing the Future 2025\, happening Friday\, Oct. 10 in New Brunswick. The annual conference sponsored by The Boggs Center on Disability and Human Development and NJ APSE highlights best practices in supporting people with disabilities in career planning\, supported and customized employment\, and transition from school to work. \nThe 2025 conference being conducted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick is subtitled\, “Uncharted Waters: Navigation Strategies for Competitive Integrated Employment.” The conference features 12 workshops on transition\, support strategies\, job coaching\, and job development\, and a keynote presentation by Duncan Winburn. The keynote presentation will be given by Duncan Winburn\, a third-year law student at the Joseph F. Rice School of Law\, University of South Carolina\, and a disability rights advocate. \nGo here to review the conference brochure. \nContinuing Education Credits are offered for Social Work\, Rehabilitation Counseling\, Education\, and APSE Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP). \nUntil August 8\, Early Bird registration for APSE members is $165.00; after that\, registration is $195.00. Non-member Early Bird Registration is $200.00; after that\, registration is $225.00. The registration deadline is September 5.
