SUMMARY:TiPS (Transition into Postsecondary Services) Information Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Annual TiPS (Transition into Postsecondary Services) Fair\, for all families and care providers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hunterdon and Somerset counties\, will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday\, February 28\, at Raritan Valley Community College Events Center\, Lamington Road\, in Branchburg. \nThis Transition Fair will feature support-coordination agencies which can assist families and care providers looking for resources for older individuals who need some type of service as they age. \nParticipants will provide information on day and residential programs\, education and recreation programs\, transportation services\, career-development services and more. Representatives from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services\, the Division of Developmental Disabilities and other service providers will be on hand. \nA floor map will be provided at the door\, and attendees are asked to bring a to collect the information being provided. \nFor more information\, contact slynch@brrsd.k12.nj.us. \n
