DESCRIPTION:In the career webinar\, “Ouch That Stereotype Hurts\,” participants will experience the impact of stereotypical comments\, jokes and emails.\nThe program will help explore why people don’t speak up against stereotypes and other biased behaviors. Six techniques will be explored for speaking up. \nThe Zoom workshop\, being presented from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m. Thursday\, March 2\, has the audience think about whether they are equally respectful and effective with a “diverse” range of people including those that are similar and dfferent.
