SUMMARY:Job Readiness Computer Skills at Norwescap in North Plainfield
DESCRIPTION:Job Readiness Computer Skills will be offered in person starting November and ending in January at Norwescap offices in North Plainfield and Flemington.  \nThe programs will run from 8:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. This series is designed to prepare participants to return to the workforce with up-to-date computer skills. The Job Readiness series teaches participants to create professional documents\, easy budgets and charts\, get points across in a presentation and finally secrets of a successful job search.  These classes will be held in-person using our computers and internet at each of Norwescap locations at 84 Park Ave. in Flemington and at 170 Watchung Ave. in North Plainfield \nSessions 1 and 2 – Using Office365 Word to create professional documents: Nov. 15 and 22 in North Plainfield and Nov. 10 and 17 in Flemington/ \nSessions 3-5 – Using Office 365 Excel to create simple budgets and professional charts: Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 and 13 in North Plainfield and Dec. 1\, Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 in Flemington. \nThe following sessions will be conducted in January 2023 but dates have not been finalized. \nSessions 6&7 – Using Office 365 PowerPoint to create and use PowerPoint to get points across in a presentation. \nSession 8 – Learn tips & tricks and resources to help you with your job search.  \nTo register for any of these sessions\, call 908-788-1435.  (Note that the sessions will be conducted at Norwescap’s Phillipsburg location in November and December\, too.)
